NithyaRajendran, a professional performing Hindustani classical vocalist is equally comfortable in Carnatic system of vocal music.  She has learnt under Smt.DhanashreePandit and Smt. ShuchitaAthalekar.  Presently she is being guided by Smt. UshadeshpandeTikkekar.  She received training in Carnatic music from Padmashree awardee Smt.GayathriSankaran, Shri T.N.Ashok, Smt. TharaVijayaraghavanand Smt.BhushanyKalyanaraman.

A rank holder from Mumbai University for Hindustani classical music, Nithyajihas over 35 years training in classical music. She is also an All India Radio empaneled professional performing Carnatic vocalist.  Besides performing across India, Nithyaji has also been called as a judge for various cultural festivals in schools and colleges. She also runs her own venture, Music Vruksh which is into spreading awareness of Indian classical music of both forms.
