Yahor Jeihalo

Yahor Jeihalo is from Minsk, Belarus who had his own music band. One day he heard a flute rendition and he decided to learn the instrument. He has been learning and practising since 2007. Passion for flute earned him a scholarship in his country to learn Indian Classical Music at Triveni Kala Sangam Institute in New Delhi. The rigor and dedication earned him yet another scholarship from ICCR to intensify and further advance his learning in flute. Yahorji started practicing flute under the guidance of Pandit Harsh VardhanSharma. He now plays flute in Dhrupad style for which he is being mentored and guided by PanditNirmalya Dey (Dagar Vani Tradition). Multifaceted personality, plays Western flute and duet with organ (piano) player. He has perfromed extensively in Belarus, Poland, Moldova, Ukraine, India. In addition, he has made many small films and videos. He has his own brand that manufactures flute. He is also an Honorary member of Shruti Sarita Art Trust.
