Mohsin Ali Khan from Kirana Gharana was groomed by his father, a renowned Sarod Player Ustad Abdul Sami Khan from the age of five. He received his training under the guidance of his uncle Ustad Amir Ahmad Khan. He graduated in music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and has rendered performances in India and abroad. He is also a part of "Guadalquivir", a Spanish music band. He has recorded a fusion music CD named as "My Indian Heart" under the direction of well-known Spanish Music Director - Luis Cobo. In 2013, he established "Kirana Gharana Music School"
