Santosh Kumar

Coming from a nonmusical family, Dr. Santosh Kumar started learning flute under the tutelage of Pt. Chetan Joshi, Delhi in late 90s. He is also being guided by Pt. Devashish Dey from Varanasi and Dr. Prahalad Nath. Besides rendering performances pan India, Santosh ji is also an academician who is presently teaching music (flute) at Sikkim University in the capacity of an Assistant Professor. A degree holder in Music (ICM) and M.Sc. (IT), he is also a PhD and has authored a book "Bansuri in Indian Classical Music History and Development", in addition to editing books and writing articles in journals of repute. Working with different Government bodies, Santosh ji is also actively engaged in promoting Art & Culture in North and East India.
