True to the process of evolution and centered around Indian Classical Music, Shruti Sarita Art initiated the concept of annual Live performances named RagaMelodies effective 2020. This is intended to be a two day program where musicians across India come to the holy city, Rishikesh and mesmerize the audiences with Classical Music. Indeed this will also be an occasion to experience being wrapped and snuggled up in the shawl of blessings of the great saints (rishis and munies) who spent years in austerity and spiritual practices in this divine city.
RagaMelodies 2020 - Day 01
Man proposes, God disposes. Due to heavy rains, venue for the concert was shifted from Shiv Ganga Ghat to Nada Yoga Hall, Akash Ganga Apartments, Swarg Ashram. Important is that the last minute changes did not dampen the spirit and the performing artists delivered performances with zeal. Event started by invoking the Guru & God and lighting of diya.
First perfromance was rendered by Shri Yahor Jeihalo who played Raag Bihag, Raag Bhoopli, Raag Bairragi Bahairav and was accompanied by Pandit Dr. Santosh Namdev on Pakhawaj. Second performance was by Shri Ashish Kukreti who presented Raag Gorakh Kalyan. Shri Ashutosh Kukreti accompanied him on Tabla. Concert concluded with solo performance by Pandit Dr. Namdev on Pakhawaj with his wife accompanying him on Harmonium.
RagaMelodies 2020 - Day 02
Heavy rains again contributed to last minutes changes in the venue. However, the seasoned artists successfully delivered gripping performances. Concert started with the traditional lighting of diya. Sushree Rindana Rahasya delivered first performance on Raag Bhoopali. She was accompanied by Mohtram Romaan Khan on Tabla and Shri Manish Kumar Singh on Harmonium. Dr. Avinash Kumar mesmerized the audience with Raag Jogkauns. Concert concluded with solo performance by Mohtram Rohaan Khan with Manish Kumar on Harmonium.
